Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation - Make a Scene: Physical Theatre for Students

Explore storytelling through movement in this physical theatre workshop!

Join our hands-on workshop, and explore how to bring characters, emotions and stories to life with your body and your imagination. Working with Lindsey McAlister, director of HKYAF’s 2026 flagship musical Falling Awake, you will try out some of the practical theatre approaches used during the production of the musical and explore how images, music, props and movement can spark ideas for performance. Working together as an ensemble, you will experiment and build on each other’s ideas to create an original piece.

No theatre or dance experience needed – just come ready to move, experiment and create.
